Venger had a reasonable night. Woke up at 2:45am restless and frustrated with her cone. After an out and a drink, she seemed to settle reluctantly. Extra pain med in case. The doctor at Ontario Veterinary College said they had to sedate her Wednesday night as she was so active we understood.
Venger is home and resting following her surgery yesterday. Thank you everyone for your well wishes, and a special gratitude to those who supported us with a little extra. Beyond generous. Four weeks of bed rest for the little darling now and fingers crossed her body accepts the device without complaint.
Announcing a puppy availability: Cidwm’s Frosted Conclusion Frost is our pick female from CKC Gr. Ch. UKC Ch. Glenire Xachary Binx x CKC UKC Ch. Glenire Acadia for Keeps, CGN. Unfortunately, at this time we do not think we are able to keep her. We would love her to go to a pet or show home. "I feared because it was too early, I cried because it was too soon. Yet I underestimated the strength in one as small as you." Today is World Prematurity Day. Every day we are grateful for our little miracle girls. ... Cidwm’s Evry Cloud Hasa Slvr Lining (Cloud) Cidwm’s Esperanza de la Vega (Espe)
Espe is big enough to sleep with the other pups all the time now. She still gets extra snacks, and may get a winter coat this weekend, but she is lively and chatty and doing well. Just some growing to do yet.
Important update for Miss Venger (Cidwm’s Forsaken Avenger) our PDA puppy. We had our surgical consult today at Ontario Veterinary College with their cardiac team, and following another ultrasound to check venous diameter Venger has been ok’d for catheter-based procedure to install a closure device. This procedure has been scheduled for Wednesday! She will be admitted Tuesday afternoon, have the procedure Wednesday, and then she will be discharged Thursday. ... Fingers crossed no complications! It will officially bump Felipe the Troll from his position as our most expensive Pyrenees by about double
Cold weather means we start hunkering down. Straw bales around the base of the trailer. We now have a brand new hydro hook up, so the kettle and microwave can run simultaneously (SO high tech!) and no more shuddering lights. Acadia has been leant a coat from her Nana to help keep her nakedness warm.
Finally a picture of sisters Cloud and Espe together.
Cloud learning good habits from her Granmama.
This one was a tough one. She reminds us so much of her Grandmother Layna. We know that she will be spoiled and loved. As well as rule the roost.
Four or our darlings are going to their new homes this weekend. Wish we could keep them all - but we’re told hoarding is bad.
Nothing like spending quality time with Granddad. Cidwm’s Cariana Bonum, NTD Blowing coat after her litter Bless Cari for what a good mum she is.
These two boys are going to their new homes on the weekend. We will miss them, but know they have the ideal homes waiting for them. <3
Cidwm - breeders of registered wolf pups Rainy days make for filthy babies.
We recommend all our puppies have HokaMix 30 as a supplement during growth. One of our new puppy purchasers found that it can be obtained cheaper and with free shipping from a new source! Yay savings! www.mondou.com
It's poses like this that tell us Cloud will be a Queen. Cidwm's Evry Cloud Hasa Slvr Lining @ 9 weeks (CKC/UKC CH. Shanlimore Cidwm Glenire x Cidwm's Cariana Bonum, NTD)
Little Girl: "Hey, Dad's trying to take a picture. You're in my hole." Boo Boo Bunny: "Huh?" Little Girl: "Cheese!"
Enjoying the Fall colours at home. No Thanksgiving celebrations for us too much work to do!
