Biggest draw ever for EXPRESS ENTRY: A total of 5,000 invitations were issued in this draw, bringing immigration candidates one step closer to Canadian permanent residence. Aspiring Candidates need a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 472 to receive an invitation to this round.... CRS requirement for this year has typically hovered above 470 for all program draws. The Federal Skilled Trades Program-only draw on August 6 invited trades workers with a CRS of 415, and previous Canadian Experience Class-only draws dipped into the 440s. PNP-only draws have higher requirements because Express Entry candidates who receive a provincial nomination are automatically awarded an additional 600 CRS points. PNPs offer alternative pathways to permanent residence for Express Entry candidates who have a lower CRS score. A large number of ITAs is in line with Canada’s commitment to welcome over 400,000 new immigrants in 2021 and most of them coming through the Express Entry system. Remembrance Day marks the anniversary of the official end of World War I hostilities on November 11, 1918. World War I was a massive conflict that was played out over the whole globe, but particularly in Europe, where troops from Canada supported the Allied forces. This symbolized by the artificial poppies that people wear and place at war memorials. The poppies may be worn or placed singly or as wreaths. The use of the poppy as a symbol of remembrance comes from a poem written by John McCrae, a Canadian doctor serving in the military. The poem is called In Flanders Fields and describes the poppies growing in the Flemish graveyards where soldiers were buried. HAPPY REMEMBRANCE DAY EVERYONE!!! #CIMMA
