We asked our parts manager, Ernie Hubley, a few questions on the importance of maintaining tire pressures throughout the year. Continue reading his top tips below: 1. How do you check tire pressure? You can check your pressures at home with a gauge. These can be purchased at places such as Canadian Tire or many DIY stores.... 2. Help! My tire pressure light is on. What should I do? Can I keep driving ? If your tire light come on don’t panic. Stop as soon as you safely can and check your tires visually to see if one is flat. If nothing is visually wrong you can go to your nearest Mazda dealer to get them to check your tires. If your unsure about driving still, give us a call at 902-453-4115 and our advisors will be able to help talk you through next steps. The goal is to get you from A to B as safely as possible. 3. How do I find the correct tire pressure for my vehicle? You can check the tire pressure recommendations for your vehicle by checking the label on drivers door jamb. This will clearly state the proper pressures for you. 4. Is it bad to drive on under inflated tires? What about overinflated tires? Yes, it is bad to drive on any improperly inflated tires.
