Throw Back Thursday! One of the many full-length ballet adaptations by Class Act Studios, this is our 2009 production of the famous ballet Don Quixote. Our Directors Monica and Eduardo Ventura were not only part of the production and behind the scenes but also danced in the performance. The photo shown are the Bridesmaids with Miss Monica inte...rpreting Mercedes. Don Quixote in its full length is almost 3 hours long. It consists of a Prologue and 3 acts. What is Lyrical Dance? Lyrical dance is a mix of a few different styles: Ballet, Jazz, and Acro dance. Lyrical class can combine the fluidity of ballet, power of jazz and tricks from Acro. More than that, lyrical dance consists in interpreting the lyrics of a song and/or creating a history with a music piece. In our Lyrical classes, students are given the freedom to express their emotions through wonderful to a variety of age appropriate music. Lyrical classes are a great opportunity for children to explore and understand their emotions and channel them into expression and performance.
