It's Raise a Reader Day in Clearwater tomorrow!!! Please come out and support literacy in our community.

Here is another way to support Literacy in our community if you can't come to the Spelling Bee!!! When you sign up please make sure to SELECT CLEARWATER as your community to fund. LITERACY MATTERS! Our Team Trivia Challenge (virtual edition) is around the corner. Check out the details on the poster below. All money raised supports local literacy programming. All experience is welcome - let's get ready to have some trivia FUN!

Thursday, January 30th .... Continue celebrating Family Literacy Week at this wonderful event run by the Wells Gray Country Seniors Society Writers Circle ...an Author's Meet and Greet at the Clearwater Library!

Kick off Family Literacy Week at a fun STEM & STORIES event run by the CLEARWATER LIBRARY on SATURDAY JANUARY 25 FROM 11 AM - 12:30 PM. You'll read Rosie Revere, Engineer and Iggy Peck, Architect by Andrea Beaty and then conduct a few experiments! You'll get to build a bridge like Iggy Peck, and build and fly a small airplane like Rosie Revere. This is a drop-in family event. All ages welcome.

The Wells Gray Country Seniors Society will be celebrating Literacy Week with us with these fun events!

Family Literacy Week is January 26-February 1, 2020! Everyone is encouraged to minimize their screen time (playing video games, watching tv, etc...) and "Unplug and Play". There will be many special events in the community that week sponsored by the Literacy Program and our community partners!
