Dear TCA Community, With the recent news that Toronto and Peel regions will be on lockdown starting on Monday, November 23rd, we must regretfully inform you that Toronto Climbing Academy will once again be temporarily closing our doors for the foreseeable future. Any bookings that have been made for next week,starting on Monday, November 23rdwill be canceled.... We will be freezing active memberships on Monday. If you are able to support us through the closure by keeping your current membership active, we greatly appreciate it. Opening dine-in for restaurants, bars and other food services, with public health measures in place Further relaxing restrictions on personal and personal care services, with public health measures in place Opening all indoor and outdoor recreational facilities, including playgrounds and play structures and associated amenities like clubhouses, showers and change rooms with restrictions and public health measures in place Allowing performing arts shows and cinemas with reduced capacity and other restrictions, such as assigned seating Opening casinos and charitable gaming halls and events, including horse racing, with public health measures in place Opening gyms, indoor sports facilities, fitness facilities and studios with public health measures in place, such as limits to the number of people, floor space, equipment, showers and change rooms

Status update: We've done some maintenance while closed to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun time when we reopen. We are constantly updating the gym accordingly as the situation evolves. We don't have a certain set date for reopening just yet as we are following health and safety officials and guidelines. Road to reopening continue! TCA has taken the following steps to provide optimal climbing experience: -TCA’s new and efficient HVAC system has been serviced and filters changed. -Opening all 4 doors to provide optimal cross ventilation and fresh air flow. -In addition, fans have been serviced and replaced.... -Extra lights have been installed and some replaced. Thank you Simeon Karadjov from Monntech Electrical Contractors. -Up to 10 hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the gym -Cleaning and sanitizing supplies have been stocked. Multi- surface cleaning/ sanitizer Isopropyl Alcohol 70%, Hand soap, Hand sanitizer 70%, hand sanitizer dispensers. We are committed to maintaining good physical distancing, sanitizing and fresh air in the facility. See more
