We’d like to thank our community for their ongoing support during this unique time and your patience as we figured out how we re-open our community hall. After much discussion and consultation, we have decided that we will open the hall to community rentals, and we will be approving each rental request individually to ensure that we are able to accommodate the group and activities. If you are interested in renting the hall, please contact us and we will ask you to fill in a rental request that we can discuss and get back to you. Thank you again for your understanding. We are committed to the safety and well-being of our community, renters and our volunteers.
Did you know that you can now place a booking request from our FB page? Just tap on the ‘Book Now’ button, fill out the short form and send it to us. We’ll review it and get back to you as soon as possible!!
Special Rental Requirements to limit the spread of COVID-19 There are a number of gathering restrictions in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19. As a small non-profit group we are working to support our community while still following the current restrictions in place by AHS. Each rental request will be discussed by our board prior to approval. A 50$ additional charge will be added to our rental costs to cover the additional cost of cleaning and supplies. Our most import...ant consideration is the safety and wellbeing of the attendees and our community. The current restrictions for the Clive Community Hall are as follows: 50 people Maximum for all indoor social gatherings. No food service allowed at this time in the hall, and the kitchen is closed. Social distancing of 2m is required during the event this includes table seating and activities. Masks are suggested. All attendees must be free from symptoms, have not travelled outside of Canada during the last 14 days or have been knowingly exposed to someone with COVID-19. All rental activities must be listed in the rental request and rentals are limited to low-risk activities as identified by AHS. To support public health contact tracing efforts in the event that an attendee tests positive, renters should collect the name and contact information of attendees and keep for 14 days after the rental. The renter is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting high traffic areas during the rental. All tables, chairs must be cleaned and disinfected before putting away (cleaning products will be provided) The renter is accepting all risk of the rental including the spread of any illness (COVID-19 or others) or injury The Clive Community Hall is not responsible to ensure that the renter is following the guidelines outlined for rental.
Only 2 weeks away!
First , I would like to thank everyone for following our page. I will try to keep up with news of what we are doing . I would like to ask everyone to share ever...ything that we do . We only have 11 members, but we are always on the lookout for new members , even if you can't make all the meetings, help at our fundraisers is greatly appreciated. We have 2 meetings a month . We do not have meetings June to September, in order to honour our farmers and all the work that they do . Last February we organized and started our spring raffle. We draw the winner on the last day of Ponoka Stampede. We sell our tickets at the Stampede and also to help out the Stampede , we sell their tickets as well. The winner receives $3000.00, and the rest of our profit $4600.00 , went to RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE IN RED DEER . In June , on FunFest day, we had our annual Pancake Breakfast. We served over 120 community members, which we would greatly like to thank for your support. All monies made from this went into donations, Clive minor sports, school sports and of course the bus rental for Grade 6 outdoor camp. In December , we held our annual Family Christmas bingo . This year we had over 120 community members . We gave out turkeys, hams, chocolates as prizes. We also offered free coffee, pop and oranges to all in attendance . Also , when the student were leaving , they were given another small token as a gift of appreciation for supporting the Lions . We are now getting ready to start selling raffle tickets . Any help with this is greatly appreciated. See more

The Clive Community Hall annual meeting is next week - Tuesday November 19th at 7:00 in the hall. We are looking for a few new members to sit in our board. Our association is a volunteer organization that owns and operates the Clive hall. It’s an important resource for our community and we are in need of more volunteers to help us out. It’s not a huge obligation. We have meetings about every 3 months, we host the annual craft sale in December, and the silent auction and c...oncession during fun fest. We have a work bee once or twice a year to tidy things up in the hall. If you can’t make everything or every meeting that’s ok. If you are interested in joining us - come to the meeting or give me a call for more information. Thanks for considering Lori 403-896-3001
Don't miss Free Movie Friday on Sept 20th - Secret Life of Pets 2

Just a reminder that the garbage bins at the hall are for hall use only and that is why they are kept locked. Please do not put garbage on top of the lids! Birds and other critters just rip the garbage apart and then we have to clean it up. There are other garbages around town that are available to use. Thank you
This SATURDAY!!! Come see us!!!
We are collecting items for our silent auction fundraiser during Clive FunFest. If you or your business would like to donate an item please comment below or PM us and we would happily accept! All money raised from the silent auction and the concession will support the Clive Hall Association and our New Hall fund.
The Clive Community Hall Board would like to thank Marsha Glenn and Gord Peters for all of their hard work on our association. Both have been on the board for many, many years and held multiple positions. Both have recently handed in their resignations, and we wish them good luck on their new projects. We are always looking for new members to our board. If you are interested, please feel free to contact us!
