On September 19th, 2020, a private event rented out the Caribbean Cultural Centre hall.Subsequently, some of the attendees at that function tested positive for COVID-19. This was not a Club Carib of Oshawa event.We hope all who were affected recover well and any attendees who haven’t been contacted please contact the Durham Regional Health at (905) 668-4113 ext. 2680, to assist in contact tracing and prevent further spread in the community. Since the event, the hall has been cleaned and vacant, and over the next two weeks Club Carib will take all necessary precautions to sanitize the entire hall for future use. We will keep the community updated on this process. We hope you all continue to stay safe during these uncertain times, and stay tuned for further updates.
