Practices vary based on the group your swimmer is in and range from 3 days per week to 5 days per week. We often have a wait list for new members which is first come, first served. Hello Piranhas a member of the Cochrane swim community, and a former member of the Piranhas, Jordyn Dvorak, has recently been diagnosed with malignant Lymphoma and is facing 6 months of treatment and recovery. The Dvorak family (2 adults, Jordyn, and her three younger siblings (2 who are under 5 years)) are going to be spending a lot of time at the hospital as Jordyn concurs this next challenge ahead of her. We know she is strong, a fierce competitor, and will be putting e...verything into this fight just like she does with every race she competes in. A Meal Train has been organized to help the family out with meals, snacks etc. as well as a Go Fund Me to help cover the families costs during this time such as parking at the hospital, gas travelling back and forth from Cochrane, Child Care or whatever the family may need.
