Sadly we will close our doors again tomorrow 4 weeks & we WILL be back. I will again cover my bills to store my equipment without revenue for 4 weeks! We were so excited when they praised salons, and we had so much hope that they had had much faith in us as you all did. We honestly can say, salons know how it’s done! Not my idea of a great day, but glad we get a few more days The government has just announced that we will be closed for approximately 4 weeks starting this Saturday. We will be open until Friday @ 6pm. We will try to get as many clients in as possible but do not want to rush laser appointments as it’s better to wait if it’s too close to your last appointment. Please know we will miss you all over the holidays and look forward to seeing you all in the new year. My emotions are all over the place right now & hope to see you all before closing. Well our prayers have been answered and I can breathe again for now We do however have some new guidlines to follow, but we all have been practicing these safety measures from the beginning. Our capacity is now set for 25% which for us is no more than 15 occupants at a time. We have spaced out clients an extra 15 mins for an as always great chat, some sanitizing & set up for the next clients. ... Our favorite! Masks..they will now be mandatory until you are in your room, and to be worn when leaving your room. We have masks and sanitizers in every shape, color & size. Yes even children’s sizes. We thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, finger crossing & positive energy! We are so happy & hoping this ends fast! I don’t know anyone more excited than me to hear this news!! Well maybe our aviation employees waiting to return to work & our travel agents with amazing deals to offer or maybe our snowbirds waiting for a little positive news. Rapid testing arrives in YYC on November 2 Starting on November 2, Alberta residents and eligible international travellers arriving on a non-stop flight into Calgary can take a rapid test for COVID-19 and possibly reduce their mandatory quarantin...e to as little as 2 days with a negative test. This includes guests who are connecting to airports within Alberta and essential foreign travellers staying within the province for at least 14 days after arrival. The Government of Alberta and Government of Canada have agreed on a 26-week pilot project that will make YYC the exclusive airport for Canada’s first quarantine reduction project that will allow testing to take place on arrival from all international destinations, to reduce quarantine to as little as 2 days from 14 days. After taking the rapid test, guests must: stay within Alberta after their arrival enter quarantine until test results are delivered in as little as 2 days If the results are negative, guests are no longer required to stay at home. If results are positive, the 14-day quarantine is still required. commit to submitting a second test after 6-7 days for validation and data collection provide daily check-ins avoid large events and senior care facilities wear a mask in public **This pilot project may be restricted or broadened at any point as the Governments of Canada and Alberta evaluate through the trial. Guests who do not participate in the pilot must adhere to the 14 day quarantine.
