Designer Piero Lissoni set about trying to emulate an age-old technique in which ancient stones were etched with lines so that they would become less slippery. The result is Carré, with its network of criss-crossing incisions creating an irregular diamond pattern that makes not only for an unusual, elegant vertical surface, but also an ideal floor in a bathroom, patio or round a pool. In its new collection, launched in Autumn 2020, Salvatori showcases the most beautiful natural stone faces in the form of floor and wall coverings, bathroom products, and accessories. One of the series's unique features is Anima Collection, an infinitely elegant, sensuous, and sophisticated bathroom system designed by celebrated interior design couple Yabu Pushelberg. Toronto-based Yabu Pushelberg is one of the leading multidisciplinary design practices in the world. With a... team of more than a hundred creatives and professionals, they design buildings, interiors, landscapes, lighting, furniture, objects, and graphics. Founded in 1980, the company is now present in 19 countries, with countless iconic projects under its belt, including the Four Seasons Kuwait, the Park Hyatt New York, the London Edition, Hong Kong’s Lane Crawford in IFC Mall and New York’s Bergdorf Goodman. Anima Collection results from applying "the sensibilities of clay to marble" as its designers Glenn Pushelberg and George Yabu describe it.
