As we await the green light to re-open our clinic, we are proud to reiterate that infection control standard precautions have always been a top priority for us since day one. As you can see here our physiotherapist @rkungphysio using PPE and disposable treatment table paper during his sessions in 2019 long before COVID-19 reached Canada. Other precautions we’ve employed since day one include washing hands between patients and wiping down equipment like treatment tables after ...each use. We are also no strangers to masks as we have been giving masks to patients with respiratory symptoms during their course of treatment. One major precaution we took during this pandemic was the decision of closing our clinic on March 16, a day before the Ontario Government declared a state of emergency. Closing the clinic voluntarily with a fully booked schedule was not a difficult decision to make, we recognized the severity of this pandemic and simply wanted to help minimize the spread of COVID-19 during that time. As we continue to heighten our in-house precautions and keep us updated on the latest guidelines regarding COVID-19, like any other clinics, our clinic has been thoroughly sanitized and is ready to re-open, our former and new patients will receive special instructions on how to safely attend physiotherapy sessions in our clinic when we are able to re-open. During this time please continue to practice physical distancing and wash hands frequently to keep our case numbers low. In our proactive efforts to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and to protect our community, Cohesion Physiotherapy will be closed until April 1st.
