A great big merry thank you to Adam McCabe of Gravity Plumbing & Heating. On Friday, December 13 he was definitely in the Christmas spirit and paid for everyone's coffee going through Tim Horton's drive thru in Lindsay. His generosity is so appreciated by many. Thank you Adam!!!

In remembrance of all our friends and relatives ....
Wanted to share an email we received the other day from a previous customer - thanks so much Larry. Sure appreciate it: Ken and Family Larry on Horseshoe Lake in Minden saying hello. You built our place in 1999. Doing fine after 21 years but what I find remarkable in this harsh climate is that the windows you installed are still in great shape with no condensation. My Toronto home has vinyl windows that have terrible condensation right from the start.... Regards Larry
Someone once said, when you love someone with dementia you lose them more and more everyday. When they are diagnosed, when they go through different stages, when they go into care and when they die. This is called Ambiguous Loss. ‘Rapidly shrinking brain’ is how doctors described it. I wouldn't wish Dementia on anyone. As the persons brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are. They can eventually become bedridden, unable to m...ove and unable to eat or drink. There will be people who will scroll by this message because dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has fought or is fighting a battle against Dementia. To raise awareness of this cruel disease, I would appreciate it if my friends could put this on your page for today. Hold your finger anywhere on the message to copy and paste to your Timeline. Thank you For all those that have had friends or family members living with Dementia . And to all the Caregivers in facilities looking after these lost souls Big Hugs A special thank you to all willing to post to their time lines. So wonderful to have a support system around you to be able to be the support to your love one as long as possible. Impossible for one person to do on their own. See more

WE WANTED TO SHARE THIS GREAT POEM FROM A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER. - THANKS SO MUCH. HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY IT: The Cottage that Ken built This is the dream of a wilderness place... Which became an idea, then a rainbow to chase And a future escape from the daily rat race This is the cottage that Ken built . Set on a lot on a Percy Lake shore Which shelters the deer as they feed by the score With beavers and martens and chipmunks and more This is the cottage that Ken built . Based on a plan put together with care With room for the family and not much to spare And big windows to let in the fresh country air This is the cottage that Ken built . Constructed of logs so straight and so long Which all fit together just where they belong To make each wall truly secure and strong This is the cottage that Ken built . Made by a builder determined and bold Who battled the strikes then the mud and the cold Till the shape of a dream house began to unfold This is the cottage that Ken built . A harmonious place that’s completely in tune With the hoot of the owl and the call of the loon As nature gives voice in the light of the moon This is the cottage that Ken built . Quite close to the end of Pine Point Road Address of the Warrens’ new country abode A place to relax and unwind and unload This is the cottage that Ken built . See more
