We’re thrilled to be adding the first unit to our fleet after picking up this recently retired BC Ambulance ride! Heading to the shop shortly for a custom paint job and reinstallation of the emergency lights & siren then, after stocking and adding some medical equipment, this ambulance will be back on the road and visiting our courses throughout the province. We’re really looking forward to the ability this unit offers us to enhance and expand on the programs we deliver!

Our final 2018 course started this week in Nanaimo and is off to a strong start with a great group of future EMR's :) The 2019 schedule is up now at: http://www.columbiatraining.ca/upcoming-courses. It includes more than a dozen FR/EMR courses throughout BC, as well as Canadian Red Cross instructor courses this January. ... The team is looking forward to again heading all over our province to train new FRs and EMRs next year!

Just a couple of weeks left to sign up for our final 2018 courses, taking place in Nanaimo BC, Nov 5 - 16. 2019 schedule will be posted here October 31st with over 20 planned courses throughout the province. It’s going to be a busy year!

Very excited to offer our first "Part Time" Emergency Medical Responder course this April in Winlaw at BC Ambulance Station 427. There's a huge need for recruits in many regions, including the Kootenays, so we hope providing this local training with a more flexible schedule will help the community to recruit some great new EMRs! We'll still be offering our standard Full Time course in nearby Castlegar at the same time. Have a look below for more details and please share with anyone in the area you think might be interested!

Our 2018 FR & EMR course schedule is now online - register by Nov. 30th and save! With our final 2017 EMR course finishing this week in Quesnel, BC we'll be taking a break until January so that we can train the great group of paramedics we've hired to join our team in 2018!
