Boatyard is busy. Having trouble keeping up on the posts but here's a new one for today. 45' Defever. Built in 1965 at Lindwall Boat Yard. MV El Vencedor is a USA built wood yacht.

Launched the ambulance boat after several aluminum modifications .

Empress I is an aluminum passenger vessel built in 1998 by Silver Streak Boats. Owner brought the vessel in and asked it be converted to an ambulance. Modifications included removing all interior panels and install new, modifications for a stretcher to be safely and easily rolled onto the vessel, better door access modifications, install new lighting scheme, new floor coverings (non-skid), jog steering and engine controls, reconfigure the anchor system, docking lights and fabricate compartments on both port and stbd side for stretchers and storage, non skid on all decks, marine coatings, windows and much more.

New paint job. Sandblast the hull and decks and new paint. Also gonna repair a whammo on the bulbous bow. Built in 1979 by builder Banks Marine Industries Ltd. 50-foot steel hull fishboat

1941 built Mariner III looking close to finishing up. Sanding, filling, fairing. As anyone knows its a tedious labour intense job. Pinkish color is so the shipwrights can better determine the high or low areas that require efforts.

Exciting day today at Commodores Boats and Western Marine Express Ltd. Load testing the new crane on Pacific Spray. Pacific Spray will have 4 times the lifting capabilities as before. 23,000 lbs lift with 75' reach.... Pictures speak for themselves. A 2 month project comes to an end. Launch day for the Pacific Spray. 2 month refit includes new crane/ winch, hydraulics, substantial aluminum modifications, engine, rudder extension, tire mounts, deck plates, interior work, genset, roller assembly, hand rails, Davit system, bottom paint and much more

Here's an ex forestry issue rigid inflatable zodiac a customer brought in for modification. Included was new wheelhouse, electronics, engines, handrail modifications, outboard motor guard, interior work, new marine coatings. Customer is very satisfied with the work.

Stepping the mast on the 50' steel hull sailboat. Prepping to place the vessel in one if our shops to have some steel plating dealt with, deck work and a host of other stuff.

New remote controlled crane being installed on the "Pacific Spray". The pedestal is made from the thickest aluminum we've ever laid eyes on @ inch and a half plate. Very skookum! Western Marine Express Ltd.

Update on the Bayliner R-turn. Hole has been cut and thruster tube installed. Thruster motor is ready and final fairing and painting will be last.

New steel ramp fabricated and lifted into place for final install. This is the Nootka Scout (II) landing barge owned by Tyee Pacific Marine Operations. Barge was built in 2007 by Higgins Industries Inc. Info courtesy nauticapedia.ca

Finishing up zodiac refit. New cabin, electrical, interior. A unique one-off boat custom built to customers specifications. An interesting project.
