Communication supports are essential in implementing Article 12 of the United Nations' Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CPRD).... For more on CDAC’s interpretation of Article 12 and the supports that people who have speech, language, communication and/or cognitive disabilities may need to empower them to exercise their legal capacity to control and make decisions that affect their lives, check out the free webinars and resources available at https://courses.cdacanada.com/c/communication-and-capacity/

The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (CHHA) is pleased to announce a partnership with the Como Foundation to produce and provide clear masks to Canadians that break down barriers and provide accessible communication solutions. The Como Foundation designs and manufactures clear masks to enable effective communication with hard-of-hearing or deaf people. We think they will also be useful for people who have other types of communication disabilities. https://www.chha.ca/get-involved/shareyoursmile/
