Chris joined InterRent REIT in 2019 as VP, Marketing based in Montreal. As part of InterRent’s executive team, Chris oversees go-to-market strategy and plans to support resident experience and programming. He works on business models to build retention, drive resident acquisition and increase brand strength and reco...gnition. Through more than 20 years of marketing experience, Chris combines strong knowledge of market trends and economic challenges with a deep consumer understanding. Prior to joining the REIT, he led the marketing team for the Aeroplan loyalty program. Chris has deep experience across a number of marketing disciplines including Customer Relationship Management, Brand Strategy, Digital Marketing, Loyalty and Data Analytics. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations. Andréanne Lavallée has more than 24 years of experience in commercial real estate in property management, brokerage and real estate consulting. She has appraised large real estate portfolios and smaller properties from all asset classes throughout Quebec.Her clientele includes local and international investors, developers and institutional owners. In addition to her valuation work, she is a columnist for the Real Estate Bulletin and is a guest panelist at various real estate conferences and competitions. She is a member of the review committee for the Ecological Gifts Program for the Department of Environment and Climate Change Canada. Finally, she is a member of the advisory committee of the Jonathan Wener Centre for Real Estate, John Molson School of Business. Mrs. Lavallée is a member of the Ordre des évaluateurs agréés du Québec, the Appraisal Institute of Canada and the Organisme d'autorégulation du courtage immobilier du Québec. MICHEL DESLAURIERS - Professor at John Molson School of Business, Director of the Jonathan Wener Centre for Real Estate, Strategic Advisor at EMD-Bâtimo & Former Chief Financial Officier at Otéra Capital Inc. ... Michel Deslauriers is the Director of the Jonathan Wener Centre for Real Estate and a lecturer in the Department of Finance at John Molson School of Business. Mr. Deslauriers acts as Strategic Advisor to several real estate development companies in Montreal. He spent ten years as Executive Vice-president and Chief Financial Officer at Otera before joining Capital Inc., a commercial real estate financing subsidiary of the Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec. Prior to his appointment to Otera he successively held the positions of Director, Finance and treasury and Vice-president of Finance at Ivanhoe Cambridge.He has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Concordia University and a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy from the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research of McGill University. Mr. Deslauriers is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agrees du Quebec. MICHAEL ZAKUTA - President & Chief Executive Officer at Plaza Retail REIT Michael Zakuta is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Plaza Retail REIT. Since 1986, he has been working in Atlantic Canada, Ontario and Quebec on shopping centre developments, and has been working with Plaza Retail REIT since its inception in 1999. Michael has participated in over 150 development or re-development deals. Plaza Retail REIT is publicly traded on the TSX and is one of Eastern Canada’s leading retail development enterprises.
