Thanksgiving is a time of family traditions and connections. Sadly it is going to look different this year. But Thanksgiving is also a time to pause and reflect on things that we are thankful for. This year more than ever we need to adjust our perspective and be grateful. Lucky are those that deeply miss connection with family and friends, for you personally know the depth of love and friendship (not everyone does). Those strong ties stay with you regardless of the distance. Their embrace can be felt without actual physical contact. So, this Thanksgiving pause and think of all that you are grateful for.

Everyone seems to be loving the return of bus outings (Tuesday & Thursday afternoons) even if it is only 5 people socially distanced and no one ever gets off the bus!! PLEASE NOTE that any activities that we are slowly able to reintroduce are for residents only. As much as we love family participation, we are unable to include guests at this time.

Welcome back to Adele and Glynnis! Please book your hair and nail appointments with the office. Strict safety protocols will be followed and of course, Adele and Glynnis will be wearing masks.

PHASE 2 UPDATE - OPTIMISTIC CAUTION As the days get warmer and we transition into the 2nd phase of this COVID pandemic and anxiously anticipate the 3rd phase, everybody is eager to return to a new norm. However, as Concords residents are amongst the most vulnerable, we must proceed with optimistic caution. Concords 2nd phase is understandably going to look different.... Concord is very fortunate to have lovely outdoor spaces, but we still need to be cognizant of social distancing, the need for masks, controlled groups and respect for the health and safety of our residents and staff. We appreciate that everyone is hoping to meet with their loved ones and we couldnt be happier than to assist with those visits providing that everyone follows the guidelines. Visits will be outside only (there will be no washroom facilities available for visitors) Visitors will be immediate family Visits must be reserved with the office (there will be a maximum of visitors in a day) Social distancing of 6 feet must be maintained No visits after 5:00 p.m. All visitors MUST wear their own appropriate masks at all times (Concord is not in a position to provide visitors with PPE) Masks are to be worn at all times even during conversation All visitors must sign in and answer a questionnaire for contact tracing All visitors must sanitize their hands when they sign in We appreciate your assistance in keeping your loved ones, co-residents and staff safe.
