CONSTRUCTION IS ESSENTIAL The construction industry’s role in building, maintaining, and enhancing our infrastructure is essential to our ability to come out of this generational challenge. These are unprecedented times. Businesses are closing their doors. Industries are shuttering. Local economies are struggling. But the construction industry doesn’t have to follow suit.... As our Province grapples with the compounding impacts of the coronavirus, it is imperative that the construction industry and those that produce the essential building materials are able to perform the work necessary build and maintain Saskatchewan’s critical infrastructure. Infrastructure is essential for the economy. Building, maintaining, and enhancing our infrastructure is essential to our local and national ability to come out of this generational challenge. CONCRETE IS ESSENTIAL When a natural disaster or infrastructure issue strikes, such as a bridge collapse or water main break, concrete is the only material that can restore order. If concrete plants are shut down, they can’t be restored quickly - that’s why it’s so important to keep them running. It is imperative that the construction industry be exempt from mass closures or quarantines. Action to ban construction sites will hinder yet another industry’s ability to sustain this crisis financially. #concrete #buildforlife #buildwithstrength #concreteisessential #constructionisessential #construction #saskatchewanconstruction #saskatchewan #concretesask #concretestrong #economy #constructionsafety #safetyfirst #safetymeasures #safetymatters #staysafe #localeconomy #saskatchewaneconomy

Amazing video by the Global Cement and Concrete Association. Now as the world faces unprecedented challenges, concrete has a vital part to play in our recovery. Our Climate Ambition is our member companies’ commitment to drive down the CO2 footprint of their operations and products, and aspire to deliver society with carbon neutral concrete by 2050.... We will work across the built environment value chain to deliver this aspiration in a circular economy, whole life context.

This is awful. If anyone has any information contact Nicole Campbell at Yorkton Concrete 2012 Ltd or the RCMP. Please share! If these thieves have the guts to do this once, they’ll do it again.
