Confetti’s European Meat Market & Grocery Ltd. is currently looking for a part-time Meat/Grocery Clerk to become a key member of our Confetti’s Team. We offer competitive wages, discounts on groceries, flexibility on scheduling, in house training, and advancement opportunities. Confetti’s values a laid back, positive and family oriented work environment and looks forward to bringing on more like minded staff to serve our great community of Port Moody and the Tri-Cities areas.... Key Responsibilities: Serve customers from start to finish including cashier duties. Tray sausages and other meats including deli products. Assist with stocking shelves, sanitizing surfaces and maintain front end. Clean tools, equipment, and work area to health and sanitation standards. Follow company policy and WorkSafeBC regulations. Assist and serve customers with both meat purchases and grocery inquiries. Ensure all products meet quality standards. Required Qualifications: Must have 1-2 years of experience in a similar position. Speak, read, and write basic English. Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards. Able to meet the physical demands of the job. Ability to work solo at times while maintaining customer service standards. Ability to work with others, follow requests, serve customers and bring a positive attitude to the shop daily. Personal Attributes: Attention to detail is needed. Enthusiastically accept guidance and keep an open mind. Self-motivated throughout shift. Must be a team player who offers assistance to others and does not hesitate to seek help when needed. Respectful to other staff and customers. Maintain a neat/tidy and clean appearance.
