Yesterday we continued our series through Luke into chapter 9. Luke being the author of not only this gospel, but also the book of Acts having set out to write a traditional account based on eye witness reports of the life of Jesus. In this chapter Jesus sends out his disciples with the power and authority over all demons and to cure disease. They were to go proclaim the gospel to the people! And in our lives today we too are told to share the gospel with those we encounter as well as to serve them. Both acts working together to reflect God's love as Christians and then to point them home towards the Father. 30 years of God's faithfulness! Together we have experienced God's goodness, His love and praising His name in one voice! Thanksgiving is coming and that means it's time for one of our favourite CCC traditions as well. Every year we stuff the sanctuary with harvest fruits and vegetables with the purpose for us to appreciate the bounty we have here in Canada, but also to share it with others in our community! So next Sunday after service, it will all be up for grabs to take home for you and your family or to someone you know who could use it this Thanksgiving! See you all Sunday at 10
