Existing clients will need a quick brief on covid protocol as well as an update on accessing the shop! You won’t believe how much as changed since your last visit in March - Opening update! I’m currently finishing my final visit to Abbotsford. I will be sending the bulk of my tools out for maintenance, and upon receiving them back will be reopening in Merritt! Tentative appointments are available starting the week of June 22nd. If my equipment needs to be mailed back to me, appointments may need to be delayed until the week of the 29th. Effective Sunday, I will be making the difficult decision to close both salons for the time being. I will be getting in touch with those who have appointments in the coming weeks. I am uncertain when I will be able to re-open, but I will keep everyone updated. Thank you all for your understanding.

This week I have struggled greatly with how to best handle our ever changing situation with regards to curbing the spread of Covid-19. Because I am home based, low volume, one on one and therefore relatively low risk as a business, I will continue to offer my services (with important changes) until it is deemed necessary for low-moderate risk non-essential businesses to cease operation. Based off current information, the risk of transfer from person to person in this specif...ic circumstance is very low, but I would rather be unnecessarily cautious than irresponsibly casual. My daily disinfectant is rated to kill a very large spectrum of bacteria and viruses, including this specific strain of corona virus. If you or anyone in your home is sick or has potentially had contact with someone who is, please be respectful and responsible and reschedule your pet’s appointment for a later date. I cannot provide services for anyone if I am also in self quarantine. I will be meeting all clients at their vehicles. No clients are allowed inside either shop for the time being. I will be able to see your arrival through my front window in Abbotsford, and on the security cameras in Merritt. If I do not come out to greet you by your scheduled appointment time, call or text, please do not try to enter the salon. You will be requested to remove your pet’s collar/harness and leash and take those items with you. Unfortunately adequate social distancing will be impossible to maintain during this handoff. I will be wearing my grooming mask and using disposable gloves to help lower the risk factor for all parties. A sanitized kennel lead will be used to bring your pet into the salon. All pets will go straight into the tub to be cleaned immediately to help mitigate remaining potential risk. Your pet will then be brushed and groomed as usual. I will inform you when your pet’s service is nearing completion, and I will bring your pet back out to your vehicle on a new sanitized kennel lead when they are done. I will be temporarily suspending the use of bows and bandanas on pets at this time. Payment is requested to move to e-transfer or credit card whenever possible. I am able to manually enter credit card information to avoid the need for you to use the terminal directly. Thank you all for your understanding and consideration. This situation is developing and changing rapidly and I will continue to do my best to assess risk and follow recommendations in the coming weeks. Your groomer, Carly

Every aspect of the salon was designed with your pet’s comfort and safety in mind. One on one grooming limits stress and distractions. Ultra low electric table and custom designed tub eliminate the need for your pet to jump up or be lifted. Variable speed dryers can be adjusted down to a gentle breeze for small breeds, puppies and sensitive pets. We also use Happy Hoodies to protect your pet’s ears during the drying process. Products used on your pet are specifically chosen based off their skin, coat and preferred style of grooming. Already submitted an application? You’re on the wait list and will be directly contacted regarding an appointment! No need to fill out a second application, you will just have to sign an updated set of policies that includes insurance information and pick-up/drop-off procedures.
