The early morning cider crew filled the cider shelves again...this will be our last batch of fresh pressed cider before Christmas and the best before date is New Years! It all passed the Applejack quality control tests again and he’s keeping an eye on it for you.

Applejack made himself a little charcuterie party of one...no board or utensils necessary!

During a year that has felt so heavy already, the weight of the weeks leading up to Christmas hasn’t gone unnoticed. Tonight is a date marked on our heart’s calendar before any year even begins. Each year on the Friday evening prior to Christmas we have opened our doors to welcome you all for a night filled with music and merriment; a night that had become a tradition for so many families, including our own.... Tonight would have been our 18th Annual Customer Appreciation P...ajama Party and you would have all been invited. But this is not the time, this is not the year. And so we will just carry on with business as usual, even though it all feels anything but. There will be no front porch visits with our alpaca friends, no complimentary family photos with Santa, no sipping on hot fresh pressed cider while browsing the storefront and chatting with friends, no milk or cookies, no colouring books, no stuffies, no music... But we hope at home there is still merrimentall things considered. That’s a new favourite phrase of 2020 isn’t it: all things considered. This year in particular we try to force perspective...we adapt, we pivot, we find silver linings, we make it up as we go, and whether you are striving + thriving or simply struggling + merely surviving I hope we can still share in the joy of this season. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas but most of all we hope it is a safe and healthy one. And if these next few weeks aren’t your typical Happy Holidays that’s understandable, we will be holding space for you while we all navigate this unfamiliar territory. We are alone in this together and soon we will be able to check off a pandemic Christmas...been there, done that + hopefully will never have to do it again. Be well. Reminiscing this morning about PJ Parties past...

Always be yourself unless you can be a unicorn...then always be a unicorn. Applejack made a few new friends last night and learned a few lessons from the unicorn: it’s ok to be different and always believe in yourself even if no one else does!
