Our Amber, or orange wine, is made using an old traditional style dating back centuries, originating in Georgia on the Black Sea. We have selected our Chardonnay Musque grapes to make this wine. Only the best clusters were hand-picked. The crushed grapes, skins and seed were cold soaked for two weeks. Fermentation happened on the skins, allowing for the absorption of the characteristics of the skins. There was minimal intervention, creating a unique wine that reflects the tru...e terroir of our vineyards and the Lake Erie North Shore growing region. This liquid gold is well balanced showing crisp acidity, and citrus notes. The underlying minerality will make this wine pair perfectly with creamy pastas or buttery shell fish.
