Saskatoon Co-op's Director vote was just tallied. Unfortunately, our endorsed candidate, Pat Atkinson, was 18 votes short. We have concerns re: the 2020 Sask Co-op AGM's format, timing, & promotion, but for now, Pat has vowed to stand for election to the Saskatoon Co-op Board at next AGM in May. Our Q&A with her is linked further down the Facebook page. On the bright side, we are pleased to announce that the Board's so-called "Democratic Reform" proposal, however, was defea...ted, as it raised many concerns for us about preserving one-member-to-one-vote with respect to electing Board Members.
