Take your time to take the snow off your vehicle before hitting the road, including the roof! They fly off and will hit someone else's windshield, surprising and blocks their view that might cause an accident. Remember! You are not the only one on the road! Drive safely and be careful out there #drivesafe #snowday #roadsafety #coredrivingschool
Still not too late to congratulate @ddannithh for passing her class7N road test on October 8,2019. She set this as her goal and worked hard for this, understanding safe driving practices so she can keep her family and around her while driving safe. Thank you for trusting and taking my advice
Well done to @maracruise for passing her road exam on the first try! She worked hard for this, reading the driving book when not driving, always trying to be better than she was before and at the end, it was all worth it and it paid off. Thank you for trusting and taking my advice

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! Another winter holiday may result in more drunk driving cases: Valentine's Day. Here are some tips to avoid drunk driving... Book a night in a hotel The best way to avoid driving under the influence is to stay off the roads entirely. There will be DWI checkpoints in several Missouri and Illinois cities that night, so instead of risking it, you can book a night in a hotel. You can find a fantastic restaurant nearby and walk to the hotel to spend the night. That way, you and your date can drink as much as you want without getting behind the wheel. Get a Taxi instead You can avoid drinking and driving while showing your partner how much you love him or her by hiring a private car for the night. This is actually much more affordable than you may think. You can book a limo, which is great if you have a few destinations in mind for the night. However, there is nothing wrong with booking a taxi, Uber or Lyft to get you home. Create a fun night at home You do not have to leave your home to have a memorable Valentine's Day. You or your partner can cook dinner and watch a movie at home. Another option is to celebrate Valentine's Day on a different day. If you go out on February 14, you can expect crowded bars and booked reservations. You can go out the next week or the week before to avoid the crowds. No matter what day you celebrate with a loved one, don't drink too much alcohol and get behind the wheel #drinkinganddriving #icbc #drivesafebc #drivesafe #valentines #valentinesday #besafe #vancouvervalentines #dailyhivevancouver
https://www.facebook.com/148192078555388/posts/2898906923483876/ This is not OK! Please clear your vehicle before driving on the road, it is unsafe for you and other road users. If you don't care about your safety, please consider other's safety. Stay safe everyone!
Drive slowly. Always adjust your speed down to account for lower traction when driving on snow or ice. Accelerate and decelerate slowly. Apply the gas slowly to regain traction and avoid skids. Don’t try to get moving in a hurry and take time to slow down for a stoplight. Remember: It takes longer to slow down on icy roads. Increase your following distance to five to six seconds. This increased margin of safety will provide the longer distance needed if you have to stop.... Know your brakes. Whether you have antilock brakes or not, keep the heel of your foot on the floor and use the ball of your foot to apply firm, steady pressure on the brake pedal. Don’t stop if you can avoid it. There’s a big difference in the amount of inertia it takes to start moving from a full stop versus how much it takes to get moving while still rolling. If you can slow down enough to keep rolling until a traffic light changes, do it. Don’t power up hills. Applying extra gas on snow-covered roads will just make your wheels spin. Try to get a little inertia going before you reach the hill and let that inertia carry you to the top. As you reach the crest of the hill, reduce your speed and proceed downhill slowly. Don’t stop going up a hill. There’s nothing worse than trying to get moving up a hill on an icy road. Get some inertia going on a flat roadway before you take on the hill. Stay home. Only go out if necessary. Even if you can drive well in bad weather, it’s better to avoid taking unnecessary risks by venturing out.
