This is it folks, the final day for food service at the Cedar Cafe has arrived. Kurtis has the fire going and the feature pizza (Chicken Alfredo) is a delicious end to a wonderful season. We want to thank our supporters for another great year, despite the current climate of our world. We couldn’t have done it without you. We will be here until 5 o’clock, see you soon Cheers

The café staff are here today prepping for their final weekend of service If you haven’t made it out, this will be your last chance! Service begins at noon on Saturday until 7pm, and begins at noon on Sunday until 5pm. There is NO food service today, Friday, the 9th of October. The final feature pizza of 2020 will be oven roasted chicken, sautéed mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes on Alfredo sauce

Only a few short weeks left in the season before we are open by chance or appointment only It’s quiet around here on Wednesdays now, when all summer there was the buzz to look forward to when the pizza oven was warming up to begin food service for the week. Don’t forget, , . We hope to see you for one last bite

The winner of our Pumpkin Contest is Sophie NG! She was the closest out of dozens of entries, less than 3lbs away from the correct weight of the pumpkin which was just shy of 299lbs

This past weekend was the finale to the summer long event, Artists in the Garden; the series. A big thank you to everyone who came out to see the Artists this summer and an even greater thank you to the Artists who participated We are extremely grateful and could not have done it without your support. This year has been challenging in many ways but we believe here in the maritimes we've done an excellent job of staying positive and minding one another Just a reminder that as of this week, the café/pizza oven will only be open on Saturdays from 12pm-7pm, and Sundays from 12pm-5pm. As of now the nursery store is still open daily from 8am-5pm. You can find our new list of hours updated on our cover photo ~ it should also be noted that we are UNABLE to host GrapeFest this year

Another gorgeous September day and the weekend is off to a great start Angela Belyea of The Herb Farm Studios is here with her fibre arts and is spinning yarn right in her booth! She’ll be here until 5 o’clock today and again for the weekend from 10am until 5pm with Peter Kinsella of Turnings with Character. The pizza oven is hot and Kurtis has another special for us this weekend pulled pork slow cooked in apple cider, on a gravy base with apples and onions, mozzarella... and sharp cheddar cheese. You’ve gotta taste this one just a reminder that this is our last full week of serving, after this weekend the pizza oven will only be open on Saturdays from 12pm-7pm and Sundays from 12pm-5pm. There’s also a giant pumpkin here, that, if you can correctly guess it’s weight*, will earn you $100 gift certificate to Corn Hill Nursery and Cedar Cafe! *guesses will only be accepted on written ballots AT the nursery. Things are changing around here, and I’m not just talking about the drop in temperature or the colours of the leaves The end of the season is nearing and we are finding things have certainly slowed. It’s officially fall, folks. October is right around the corner and you know what follows after that This week will mark the beginning of changes to the pizza oven and Café hours. We have decided this will be our last week of serving weekdays. , , ...which is also our final Artists in the Garden event of the year, . You can still visit the nursery store and gardens daily from 8am until 5pm, season end date is yet to be determined

It’s set to be a crisp & cool day Come warm up with a delicious bowl of soup or a pizza from our outdoor oven. , , available from 12pm until 7pm, and the Artists, Constantine Designs and Jamie Brown Designs will be here starting at 10am until 5pm!

There may not be any artists today, and it may be cold and rainy, but we are still here! And the cafe staff have a surprise for you Today and for the weekend, while supplies last, we will be serving soups and homemade breads in addition to the pizzas, salads, and desserts. And don’t worry! You CAN dine inside! So... What soups you may ask? Let me tell you ... And our famous The cafe staff will only be serving until 5 o’clock tonight due to the cold and rainy weather!

Don't forget about us! We're still up and running the nursery even well into September, and remain open daily from 8am until 5pm. The cafe staff and the pizza oven are open again for the week, beginning at noon today until 5pm, and noon until 7pm for tomorrow and the weekend!
