Here are some beautiful quilts members completed in the past months. Hopefully we will be able to resume our monthly meetings sooner than later. Meanwhile stay home, stay safe.

The QUILT ANGELS really came through with these beautiful quilts for Riverview Manor. The Labels say May this quilt keep you warm and give you comfort, quilt made with love by Helen’s Friends Cornwall, ON 2020 .

Here is a beautiful baby quilt one our member Liz Lapensee completed lately. You will make a child very happy Liz. Thank you for your devoted time with CCQ Liz.

In light of the current situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cornwall Comfort Quilts will remain closed indefinitely until the situation is of no danger to our membership. As the Care Centre is closed to visitors at this present time, it is in our best interest that our members not enter the building. In light of the current situation surrounding the COVID-19 possible pandemic , I feel, in the best interest of our members, the need to close the Cornwall Comfort Quilt at the Care Centre until Monday, April 5, 2020 at which time we will re-assess the situation. For members requiring material to sew quilts at home, feel free to come and pick up what you need. I will still make myself available in the event someone needs to pick up a quilt. Cornwall Comfort quilts completed 17 quilts this month. They were shown at our monthly meeting today. We had a large number of ladies attend the monthly meeting. This is our last monthly meeting for this year. Wishing you all ladies a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2020. Thank you all for the wonderful work you do for the Cornwall Comfort Quilts. On Saturday, November 16, we'll be having a craft and bake sale...to be held at the old Cornwall General Hospital, on Second st., and Marlborough. Event will take place in the Main Salon at Main Entrance..from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm...Everyone is welcome. All sales will go to Comfort Quilts, a non-profit organization, to purchase backing and batting for our quilts . Hoping to see you there..
