#383 - On the morning of October 14th, members of the CPS Street Crime Unit executed a drug warrant at a Cumberland St. address which resulted in two individuals being taken into custody. During a search of the residence, police located a quantity of purple fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine and methamphetamine, as well as a shotgun, a pellet gun, and a quantity of Canadian currency. #383 -Our monthly traffic initiative for October is being dedicated to "Operation Impact." This year's theme is Safety Doesn't Happen By Accident which emphasizes the role each of us has to play to support traffic safety on the streets and highways in our community. #383 - Four individuals were taken into custody as a result of yesterday's Drug Warrant, where a quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, hydromorphone and illicit cannabis was seized. #383- Members of the CPS, including the Cornwall Emergency Response Team, as well as the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, executed a search warrant on Walton Street at approximately 5:30 am this morning. Distraction devices were used and heard; however, no guns were fired. More details to follow.

#383 - This week the CPS is conducting commercial vehicle inspections. Ministry officers and police conduct inspections on commercial vehicles to make sure they are being operated safely by qualified drivers. Where a commercial motor vehicle or trailer is found to be in such an unsafe condition that it endangers other people on the highway, the vehicle may be prohibited from operating until required repairs are made.
