[Sport Hub Antigonish] We know many children and youth are wondering what their summer activities will look like this year. In the face of all the uncertainty a...nd delays everyone is experiencing, we're happy to have a little bit of positive news to share! Although our programming is currently postponed, we've been cooperating on a big project and are excited to announce the Town of Antigonish is a proud supporter of, and partner with, the brand new Sport Hub Antigonish. This collaborative initiative has been in the works for many months with a purpose of helping to increase and enhance sport participation and positive sport experiences in our community. Although pieces of the initiative are on hold in response to COVID-19, the Sport Hub website is now ready for you! Check it out at: https://mysporthub.ca/ Create a free account to be added to the newsletter list so you'll be the first to know when community programming is back up and running and how you can use Sport Hub to register and manage your family's schedule. If you have any questions about the Hub, contact [email protected]. We look forward to a future when we can gather and enjoy sport and recreation together again, however, we hope you enjoy exploring this modified online creative community initiative while we wait!

Every Wednesday will be considered ‘takeout night’ across Canada ... in support of our small businesses. To go one step further, if you can please pay this for...ward by purchasing takeout for someone in need (pizza for a neighboring family), meal for a front line worker, etc etc. If you are a restaurant / take out vendor please reply to this post so we can support you

Only a couple of days left for the World Oceans Day event at the Biology dept. of StFX University. We’ve expanded to the second floor with much more to see and do! Explore the touch tanks, learn about fascinating marine animals, take pictures in the Atlantis photo booth, make nautical knots, participate in the Great Plankton race to win prizes and for all the parents out there, we will have multiple face painting and henna stations, so the wait times will be very short!
