Hello Everyone! YES, I’ve been dreading having to take this tape off of our laundry room floor, but, I’m here today to share yet another video on how useful your standard household STEAMERS can be for any of your deep cleansing tasks. Today I’m using a Conair Steamer to loosen old, dried on masking tape from textured flooring. Now you might just be thinking why don’t you use some Goo Gone?. Well of course Goo Gone would work on a portion of the tape, but this tape still has... the exterior coating on, so we’re not just battling the adhesive. By using this technique, you will be able to remove the adhesive AND the exterior coating in one (or a few) pulls! Doing home renovations? This same technique would apply for dried on painters tape along baseboards and trim. Plug in your hair dryer and heat the tape for a few seconds, leave roughly 5cm between your hair dryer and the tape. Gently pull the tape away to reveal your undamaged, pristine edges of your freshly painted walls! Still don’t want to attempt it yourself? CALL US!
