Crackup Comedy Festival

Today, on Blue Monday, Crackup Comedy Festival is issuing a winter snowman challenge to everyone in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. In order to spread some positivity and cheer during these long winter months, we want to see your best, most creative snowperson! From an old top hat to a carrot nose...anything goes! It's easy to participate:... 1) Join our Facebook page and share a photo of your snowperson! That's it! We will select the three best snowpeople to receive a one-on-one Zoom call from one of our talented comics. The challenge will run until the end of January. Happy creating, and remember: ça va bien aller!

No Festival yet in Ottawa, but good news is we are presenting a hybrid 'Live" and Online Festival for the Arctic this week. Take a break and enjoy an interactive Zoom event with "Big Daddy Tazz" on Wednesday evening at 7PM. There will also be virtual Festival events on Thursday and other days with tapes from comics across Canada and Iqaluit

Should be no surprise, but due to Covid-19 concerns and the announcement by the Province on the banning of all events for over 50 we have to postpone the Festival until a time when we can come together. Crackup Ottawa is working on a 'Quarantine Comedy" show to present Comedians online to replace the Festival next week and give us all a little Comedic Relief while we self isolate and work from home for the next few weeks :) Stay tuned to our Facebook page for updates
