Sometimes in my career in politics some special moments happen and one of those moments just happened today. It was really cool for me and a very proud moment t...o see Tanya Fir introduce Leslyn Lewis at the UCP virtual AGM. I was honoured to deliver Tanya her nomination and to serve Leslyn on her campaign as her Western Chair. Very proud moment for me!

NO LEFT TURNS! PGIB's Recommendations For The Executive Friends,... This AGM is the most crucial AGM of our party's short history. We will either become Liberal, Tory same old story or we will focus back on the grassroots and the wishes of Albertans. With massive debt and continued attacks on our Oil & Gas sector we are now at a fork in the road. There are those who put Ottawa first and have literally voted for Trudeau and campaigned for Kent Hehr. Vote for the following to avoid a left turn. Calgary Area Director: Matt Dirk VP Membership: Although all 3 candidates are great our top 2 choices are Dave Guenter and Gord Elliott. Treasurer: Max DeGroat Craig B. Chandler Executive Director Progressive Group for Independent Business (PGIB) Phone: 403-720-2143

My favourite quote of 2019. "Craig Chandler has been a fixture in Alberta conservative politics for almost 20 years. He’s controversial and hard to ignore. He has little time for keyboard warriors and intellectual navel gazing. He’s the battle-tested field marshal for an army of business-minded conservative activists called the Progressive Group for Independent Business (PGIB) who hit the phones and the streets for conservative political candidates and causes. Those who think his brand of conservatism is too uncompromising for today’s political environment are forced to tread lightly" Western Standard - November 20, 2019

Alberta’s Government has completed its reviews of LRT projects in Calgary and Edmonton. While the review of the Edmonton West Valley Line outlined a few concer...ns with the project, we will work with Edmonton to actively fix outstanding issues and we expect to execute the funding agreement very soon. Our review of Calgary’s Green Line LRT outlined a number of concerns, particularly around estimated costs, contingencies, governance structure, and the overall procurement strategy. We’ve asked the City to work with the province to ensure the project team properly manages risk. We’re committed to working with both the City of Calgary Your Local Government and the City of Edmonton as partners to ensure the next generation of LRT projects are delivered in the best interest of those who need them, as well as the taxpayers who fund them.

Scale of 1-10, how close did Harper nail it?

I think the federal Conservative Party is a joke when they acclaim candidates by not allowing a Nomination. As someone who lives in Calgary Shepard, I am disgus...ted that the members did not have a say on who should be the candidate. Absolutely zero accountability to the members. Tom Kmiec may or may not have been a great MP for us, but, that is for us to decide NOT Ottawa! Odds are no one would have ran against him and he would have been acclaimed by us Southies once again. Mind your own business Ottawa! We need More Alberta & Less Ottawa! Leslyn Lewis believes in democracy. Leslyn even demanded that she went through a nomination process! Be like Leslyn Lewis and embrace democracy or we are no better than the Liberals. This is rubbish!

I was inviting people to like my public Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/electcraigchandler and in the invites right after each other were my very clos...e deceased friends Jon Lord and Rob Ford. What are the odds? I had no idea their profiles still existed? If you have not liked my public page I would sincerely appreciate it.
