English Tutor Taiwan

Leading a teacher training program in Taipei was a great experience. This was a great group of inspiring teachers. Sharing and colaborating with our coworkers is the best way to improve our skills as educators. The most important thing to remember, as a teacher, is to learn something new each day.

Happy New Year everyone. We have been celebrating Christmas and enjoying many different activities. We did crafts, wrote letters to Santa, baked Christmas cookies and had a Christmas party together. I think the children really enjoyed themselves and felt the spirit and joy of the holidays. All the best you and your families as begin what is sure to be a wonderful 2019!!!

A big congratulations to Acro Novelty for completing our 13-week business English course. We had a lot of fun and everyone involved improved their English ability. It was a fun and interactive class environment that was an absolute joy to teach. For our second week of classes at home, we talked about the changing of the seasons from summer to fall. We talked about how leaves change color and fall from the trees. We went outside and collected our own leaves to use for our art project. We had fun doing leaf rubbing and painting leaf outlines. The children had so much fun learning and creating. We took a break this week to celebrate the national holiday. Next week...SCIENCE CLASS!!

Last week we had our first in home cooking class. We prepared mini red velvet cupcakes. The children helped with all aspects from mixing ingredients to washing up the dishes. Then we colored cupcake pictures. It looks like they really enjoyed themselves.

We love helping our students gain the confidence they need to speak in front of a crowd. Speech contests are a great way for students to practice and show off their abilities. If you need practice with your public speaking, please let us know. We are happy to help students of all ages.
