Looks like we are all in for a few more months of playing it safe and playing at home. CreArt Edmonton has officially been a society for two years now! Today we gathered via Zoom to go over the accomplishments of our community, our financial statements and elect 15 MEMBERS to our 2020/2021 Boards of Directors! Highlights of the year were around the Yeg African Film Festival where the Afro-Canada community reached out to create a platform to share the stories of their community, Antiracism film projects focused on community development in Edmonton, and the @hear...tcityfest Youth Stage Project. The Youth Stage was organized and hosted by CreArt you, some of who have now come of age and joined the board of CreArt Society today.
