Dear Friends and Patients, I would like to share the good news that as of last week we are NOW OPEN. At the Credit Valley Dental, the health of our patients and staff is a top priority, so weve taken all the necessary precautions to create a protected space for everyone in the clinic. If you need a routine cleaning or you have any dental related concerns or you need to complete an ongoing procedure were ready for you and your loved ones. Weve rece...ntly installed new technologies and equipment and have implemented all recommended stringent safety protocols outlined by our dental college. You can rest assured that our clinic is safe, sanitary and hygienic. Just so you know, based on the HAVC report from the medical building, we have excellent air exchange rate. In addition, our office has a large Surgical Clean Air unit to enhance air exchange rate. Furthermore, after each treatment, the operatory will be disinfected by the clinicians as per IPAC best practice guidelines, as well as individual HEPA air purifier to remove all types of air pollutants, allergens, bacteria, and viruses. And finally, our Surgical Clean Air unit and HEPA air purifiers are not only enhance air exchange, purifying the air, but also eliminate bacteria and viruses with built-in blue light UV-C surface sanitizer. This is the same technology utilized in hospital ICUs to sterilize surfaces. Our team of experienced and highly trained professionals are ready to welcome you to a newly retrofitted clinic, with the ultimate in precautionary hygiene measures. We are looking forward to re-opening our office as soon as we are able! We will have to wait until the state of emergency is lifted in Ontario. During the next phase, when we are able to safely provide in-person care, the office will look a little different. We will be implementing new procedures and enhancements around the offic...e, in addition to our already excellent sterilization procedures and universal precautions.
