While the #aviationindustry currently has a surplus of pilots & AMEs due to significant layoffs as well as early retirements in the #commercialaviation sector. However, senior pilots and AMEs that are still employed with #airlines are still getting older. Meaning that a significant number of employees will reach retirement age within the next decade. So the oversupply will be temporary at best. According to CAE Parc Aviation, age-based retirements, attrition and fleet growth of 11,000 additional business and commercial #aircraft over the next decade will restore long-term pilot demand. The vast majority of aircraft operators in the industry believe that once the normal activity is restored to the #aviationindustry there will be a significant demand to hire new staff.
