Lorenzo Caterini is Nordiq Canada's 2020 Volunteer of the Year. Cobequid Consulting, great post! Bryan Scallion dedicated a lifetime to achieving excellence across many endurance sports and coaching young athletes. As photographed below, he designed the trails at McDonald Sports Park in the late 1970s, which many use throughout the year. North Highlands Nordic Updates -The only way to get your season pass for this winter is to go to https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=25008 to register. Please let us know if you have any difficulties doing so.... -The shed, storage building is being put up at an amazing pace with 100% volunteer help. You can see updates on facebook or on the website. Even better, drop by and have a look. -We will operate this winter out of the heated storage area that will house ski rental, office space and have a washroom. -The spaghetti supper raised $1500.00 and the flea market brought in over $3000.00- not bad for these COVID times. Why Wait - The Legacy of Rob Carreau: Run/Walk to Support Rob's Family. Event Details https://bit.ly/2UwHYbn... After the tragic passing of our beloved friend, colleague, teammate, family member, and teacher; it is important that we come together to support one another through our grief and mourning. We also must come together to support his family in this time of need. Let us gather, virtually, to support Rob's family in any way that may be deemed necessary in the years to come. All proceeds from this run will go directly to Rob's family, and will be used to support the education of his children. Should there be any excess funds, they will be allocated to a memorial bursary in Rob's name. On the weekend of Nov 28 / 29th, run or walk either 5k or 10k in memory of the legacy of Rob Carreau.
