The holiday season has officially begun with this first weekend of December! Decorating, baking, shopping and... the inevitable... sometimes dreaded, gift wrapping extravaganza! If you are on the hunt for wrapping paper, gift boxes, gift tags, ribbon or handmade cards, we have it all at the Crossroads Hospice Thrift store! ... Prices range from 25 cents a gift bag to $4 for a Handmade Christmas card... We are adding to our gift wrap collection daily, so don’t forget to check out our wrap it up section of the shop located right beside the front desk!

Although community Remembrance Day ceremonies may be cancelled because of COVID-19 pandemic, the Crossroads Hospice Thrift Store is remembering in our own way. #lestweforget

It's Fabulous Find Friday! (We REALLY like our alliterations around here!) We all know that the best part of Thrifting is the Thrill of the Find... But at Crossroads Thrift Store we also love Re-Imagining how someone else's treasure can become a part of our own creative journey!... Covid has definitely changed our day to day interactions, but some great experiences have also blessed our families... and the re-integration of Family Game Night is one of our favourites! So today we've pulled from Pinterest, some of the most creative idea's for Re-Imagining our Treasured Games... 1. Make "Guess Who" more personal by incorporating family (or celebrity) photo's 2. Use a Decorative Frame to showcase your cherished game board and pieces 3. Turn the actual game board into a shelf to show off your other fabulous treasures 4. For those games you play a lot... Re-Imagine them into their own table so you can keep your game going all year long! Hopefully these photo's have inspired you to re-imagine your own games, and we invite you into the store today because... guess what's on sale...

Early last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a mini, socially distanced, outdoor & virtual-friendly Thrift Store Volunteer Meeting. This gave us an opportunity to celebrate how far we have come, as a group, since our re-opening. It was so valuable to acknowledge the hard work that has gone into keeping our customers safe and enhancing their shopping experience. We are so grateful for our incredible volunteers; they are truly the heart of Crossroads!... #volunteerappreciation
