Do you have a favourite funny travel story to share? Here’s mine. I was with group on a Mediterranen cruise. When we stopped in Alexandria Egypt some of us opted to take a little side trip overnight in Cairo. Usual stuff pyramids, city of the dead, museum, grand market etc. One place we stopped was a sort of souvenir store. The rest of the group hurried across the street to go in. I had lagged back for some reason. I see this man standing on the sidewalk behind our bus. He had four or five goats with him. Suddenly a taxi pulls up and the guy herds his little flock (or whatever you call a group of goats) into the taxi, jumps in himself and they are gone. It happened so fast that I didn’t have time to take a picture.
