The Government of Québec has made masks mandatory in indoor public spaces as of last week. At the QEHC, we remind all our visitors to please wear your mask at all times when inside the clinic, with the exception of a momentary removal if requested by a nurse or a doctor. *And* please remember, for the mask to be effective at spreading and potentially protecting you from the coronavirus, it must cover the nose and mouth at all times. Together we can help minimize the risk!... https://www.canada.ca//how-put-remove-clean-non-medical-ma See more

Some great tips on safety for those little trick or treaters... Defective or improperly installed lights and decorations can pose a fire and injury hazard. Candles, jack-o-lanterns, lighters and matches as well as extension cords that are overloaded or not certified by a recognized organization like the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) or the Underwriters' Laboratory of Canada (ULC) all represent fire hazards. The following tips can help you reduce these risks:... Place lighted candles and jack-o-lanterns away from curtains and other flammable objects, and do not leave them unattended. Or even better, instead of candles, consider using a small flashlight or battery candle to light your jack-o-lantern. Remember to always keep candles, matches, lighters and other fire hazards out of children’s reach. Check indoor and outdoor decorative lights for broken or cracked sockets, frayed or bare wires or loose connections. Do not overload extension cords. Make sure your costumes, decorations and accessories are not subject to a recall by consulting the Health Canada recall and safety alerts database.
