Black Forest cake:The story behind this legendary German cake - The dessert made its first "official" appearance in a cooking text during the 1930s and began to enjoy much popularity after World War II The first story is that of Josef Keller, manager of the Cafe Agner in Bad Godesberg - once an independent municipality and now included in the urban district of Bonn. To make your experience the utmost best and safest, we have redesigned some of our approach to dine in! What will this look like? Here’s what you can expect. Hours of Operation: Sunday Thursday 11:30-8:00pm & Friday, Saturday's from 11:30-9:00pm All Surfaces will be disenfected after each use! All staff will be wearing face masks New wipable menus will be in use Contactless payment using Google or Apple Pay Hand sanitizer stations located throughout the restaurant Enhanced cleaning procedures While we’re confident in the additional measures we’re taking to create a safe environment, we completely understand if you’re not ready to dine indoors. We will still be offering both pickup and delivery services! These weeks of isolation have been tough on all of us. Today was a success! Thanks to you our wonderful customers! Today we donated 100 bowls of soup and garlic bread (50 from you our customers, matched by 50 from us here at continental Treat)! These are difficult times for everyone, especially for those less fortunate and most vulnerable in our communities! ... We would like to take this time firstly to thank the lovely ladies in the Continental kitchen for all of their hard work, for coming in extra early to prepare their delicious soups for the feed the hungry donations! We would also like to thank @paulinelumandas for making this project successful and a big thank you to Hope Mission, this Not for Profit agency provides Basic and emergency care to over 800 people daily as well as counsel and referral services, meals clothing etc...for men, women, and youth. They provide compassionate care and offer hope to hurting, hungry and homeless people in the Edmonton area. " Hope begins with a meal."
