TO ALL REGENT POOL LEAGUE PLAYERS On June 2, 2020, the Government of Ontario announced that it was prolonging the state of emergency for the province of Ontario... at least until June 30th. In light of this information, the CUE 'N CUSHION is to remain closed until formal governmental notification is given. At present, we have no potential "back to business" date and do not know what measures will have to be put in place to ensure compliance with conditions allowing us to open our doors. As a result, REGENT POOL LEAGUE finds itself in a position where it cannot announce a date for its year-end tournament. However, the league coordinator wishes to set a tentative date for the playoffs so league players can plan ahead. Please mark the weekend of AUGUST 14, 15 AND 16, 2020 as a possible tournament date. Should restrictions still be in place at that time, please reserve September 11th, 12th and 13th as an alternative date. Be assured that 100% league fees that have been collected will be paid out at the tournament, the money is secured in the bank. The Cue 'N Cushion and Regent Pool League take priority in ensuring the safety of the staff and of the league and recreational players.
