FORWARD MOMENTUM When we have forward progress we see the results and that fuels more forward momentum. The gains are addicting. When we stop - intentionally or unexpectedly - we often loose that forward progress and restarting is difficult. This is the first time in the history of the modern dance studio as we know it that some dancers have had a six month break and are about to restart their training. This is also the first time many parents have been home that long and... the first time teachers have been separated from their students. There is a lot going on here for people at all levels of this situation. It’s going to take all of us a little time to regain our forward progress and that is absolutely ok. We will all respond differently, also ok. Be gentle on yourself, love your body, be mindful of your emotional responses. It may take some time to gain your momentum back, and that is totally ok. Get up, get out there and make progress one foot at a time. https://youtu.be/NdoQjrl8pe4

Make sure your dancers are strong enough to hold plank and pushups for safety before trying this one! You need to be sure they won’t collapse and bump a tooth! Certainly don’t use more than a cup of water. Have fun!
