S l o w eating. A practice that involves eating without distractions, and slowing the process way down - so that we can use all of our senses throughout the meal. Tuning into the taste, look, smell, and sound of food as we eat. Noticing how we feel during and after eating, in terms of digestion, mood, and energy levels. Stopping mid way through our meal to take a deep breath. Calming/relaxing the body, which supports digestion. Also allowing us to pause, and check in with ourselves. To observe if we are still physiologically hungry, or if we feel satisfied. One approach/tool that we can integrate as a way to embrace a slower way of living, while cultivating a more nourishing relationship with ourselves through food. #holisticnutrition . . . @laurenkolyn_studio

Visual Cooking Inspiration: Roasted chickpeas, red onion, radish, seasonal brussels sprouts, and sweet potato. Wonderful addition to a 'bowl' containing quinoa, farro, or freekeh as the base, along with herbs or arugula for freshness! My idea of comfort food.
