Meet Alyssa Brunt, our pelvic floor and orthopedic physiotherapist! Alyssa received her Masters in Physiotherapy from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Prior to completing her Masters, she graduated with Honours from Queen’s, majoring in Kinesiology. Our Osteopath Sandy Antunes has busy days at the clinic! This means when it comes to lunch time, a full meal isn’t the most ideal. Sandy wanted to share this quick recipe you can make with a rice cooker (you don’t have to use a rice cooker)! This Liver and onion recipe is a quick but filling meal you can make in under 25 minutes. You can use whatever leftover vegetables you have in the fridge! The details are below! Ingredients: - Liver seasonings: seasoning salt, garlic, ...basil, 1 bay leaf, hot pepper, flakes to taste, olive oil and paprika). Marinate the liver a day ahead (or freeze). - 2 large onions (cut in circles, not diced) - Garlic cloves (1-3) - Potatoes - Green Beans (or whatever you have that’s green in your fridge) - Carrots (optional) Let us know what your quick ideal lunch recipes are!
