All members: As a follow-up to the Notice from Dr. Strang today, please be advised that the Dartmouth Curling Club will close for at least a two week period, effective following the games scheduled for tonight Nov. 24th. The ice will remain in and as soon as the Department of Health allows we will be able to reopen and play can resume. ... This decision was not made lightly, however myself and the majority of your Board feel it is the proper thing to do for the safety of all our members As soon as we get the ok to resume we will notify everyone. Your favorite board of directors met tonight. In the weeks to come we hope to provide some information about our plans for the next few months.

The Board of Directors would like to inform the members of the Dartmouth Curling Club that we have decided to cancel the remainder of the 2019-2020 curling season at DCC as of midnight tonight. The Board has had discussions about the relevant information regarding COVID-19 and after careful consideration and conversations, we feel this is the best way to protect our members, staff and the greater community. This is not a decision we came to lightly. Please keep in mind that t...here are many common surfaces at the club and keeping them all disinfected would be a great undertaking. We understand the disappointment this decision causes and thank you for understanding. Respectfully. The Board of Directors

Team Arsenault would like to thank everyone at Dartmouth Curling Club for all the hard work and ice time you gave up so we could compete in the Scottie’s provincials last week. We want to give a shout out to Lynn Burgess for leading the team of volunteers, to Stephen Glazebrook for all the behind the scenes work, to Lois MacDonald for the great kitchen service, and to Tracey Frowd and team for your on ice preparations. It’s been a wonderful 3 years playing in the provincials at Dartmouth Curling Club.
