Good morning Now that I am starting my page from scratch I am almost thinking maybe it’s a good time to freshen things up a bit! Maybe a new logo? Writing different content? Tips and tricks for a great wedding? Tell me, what would you like to see more of from our account! Ps-does anyone know a great logo designer that could help me!?

With Thanksgiving around the corner I am sitting here watching my friends, family and community come together to help me and I couldn’t be more blessed. I know that sounds cheesy but I woke up this morning and I am in tears of the support and texts I have received! Again, I know in the grand scheme of things this is minor it just felt like another kick in the stomach after losing all our business this year. I just want to say thank you thank you thank you

I have to say, when someone recommends @daybyknightweddingandevents to their friends or family it means the world to us, it means you believe in us! But when you meet someone and then they personally ask you to be their planner it takes it to a whole other level! DID YOU KNOW @daybyknightweddingandevents started planning proposals this year!? This one makes my heart happy! This beautiful couple came up from Vancouver to explore the #okanagan and of course check out some of the best wineries! This soon to be groom emailed us wanting the perfect proposal and to surprise his girlfriend! Well I can guarantee that happened! They walked down the vineyard and once they hit the bottom @djlunderful started playing their song while they approached the set up we designed for them! Then he got down on one knee while @jenniferhodderphotography captured the moment! Thanks to @quailsgate for the stunning location and rose, @fleurichcreations for the florals and arch and @vintage.origami.weddings for the carpet and pillows!

Next year vendors are booking up so quick if not sold out already! Keep going on your planning and you’ll be so happy to say all your vendors book and use the rest of your time to work on the small details

As I have decided to re watch all the One Tree Hill seasons for the 1000th time (am I the only one who loves these seasons!?) I am working away on emails, planning 2021 weddings and I had a full on anxiety attack.... what the heck! Where did that come from! I am practicing everyday to be grateful, to be more present and to relax but that is difficult when you are working two jobs (again, thanks Covid) and a business! Who else is struggling to find their NEW balance? On another note we had a micro wedding yesterday and it was AMAZING thanks @mosaic_party for having us apart of a beautiful day!! I am on day three of yoga and to be honest I’m just completely exhausted from being pulled in 100 different directions the last 6 months. I have been working around the clock but what I am very grateful for is to have a home thats mine! I bought it 2 years ago and really made it feel like a little sanctuary with all my favorite things and colors! (Some of my favorites: my @joannagaines magazine corner, my favorite blue color, my @urbanbarn couch) I love spending my time here and I’ve notice I’m most creative in this space!

Hi everyone! I am literally the worst at showing myself on social media and it was one of my goals for 2020 to be more present! Well... I’m not sure about you but my goals went out the window just like all my business for this year BUT now that it’s August and I feel like I haven’t accomplished much this year with the cards we have all been dealt that I am now setting a few now!
