2018 Fifa World Cup CSA Nominated 2019 Best Sports Opening Working with Producer/Director Simon Garan, this was a lot of fun to shoot. The concept changed from when we initially started talking about shooting this. It became more of a last minute pull together once Steve Nash came on board to narrate, but was pretty thrilled to see this opening come together. Simon did a fantastic job bringing this one together on such a time crunch and as always Brent Blanchard did a beautiful job with the edit. We shot this in Simon's mother in laws basement and Simon sourced out all the great 80's gear to give it the look of Steve Nash's childhood. Here are some frames from it.

Grey Cup 2017 CSA Nominated 2019 Best Sports Opening I've been working with Producer/Director @craig.chambers for years. He was actually the person to give me my shot at TSN, which I am forever grateful for. Working together is always a blast and the Grey Cup in 2017 was no different. We had to figure out a look/concept that we could build in the concourse of the Ottawa Red Blacks Stadium to accommodate the athletes tight schedule. This was my first time using Astera Tubes A...stera but had heard of them through the incredibly talented @jeremy_benning , who is always on the edge of new technology to enhance imagery and emotional connection. Chris Pegg (@frogquest ) who is amazing, was extremely helpful in setting us up for our shoot in Ottawa on a pretty short turnaround. The tubes were a great tool for these sort of setups, and at the time we unfortunately had a limited setup time to get the most of the tubes, I'm pretty thrilled with the outcome. I eventually went on to buy 16 of them for myself and use them all the time. Here are some frame grabs. See more

Finding Murph Produced and Directed by Josh Shiaman Journalist Rick Westhead Joe Murphy is a Stanley Cup winning top draft pick who played in the NHL. His life had so many ups and has had continued in the roughest way imaginable. It's tough to say what specifically got him here, living homeless in Kenora, but a series of concussions and opioid abuse is an easy start. We dropped into Winnipeg and started a drive with ex NHL player Trevor Kidd, a great, caring guy, to go find J...oe Murphy and try to understand how Joe got to where he is and why. It was important to go in with the right intentions, and treat Joe with the respect he deserved. We didn't know the state he would be in, but it was worse than it had been described. He was a very kind and opened his life enough for us to get a glimpse and give us the opportunity to tell his story. Here are some frames from the short feature. See more

Kevin Stevens - Shattered This started as a shorter feature on Kevin Stevens former NHL player who should've had a Hall of Fame worthy career until a massive injury led to a completely different life. After 3 very long shoot days it was apparent that his story deserved a 22 min version. Produced and Directed by @georgeskoutakis for Sportsnet Here are some frames from the piece
