Applications for the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy for March 15 to July 4, 2020 will be closing January 31, 2021. All following periods will be closed 180 days after the end of the period. If you are interested in applying for the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy please contact the office at 780-853-2801. We are happy to help our clients utilize this benefit provided by the Canada Revenue Agency.

Just a reminder to our clients of the extensions that were provided by CRA due to the COVID-19. Corporate tax filing deadlines: September - October 2019 year ends were extended to June 1, 2020. November - February 2020 year ends were extended to September 1, 2020.... Monthly payroll remittance deadline's have remained unchanged. June 19, 2020 is the last applicable day for the 10% wage subsidy. CEWS of 75% has been extended to August 29, 2020. GST filing requirements remained unchanged as well. Payments or remittances that become owing on or after March 27, 2020, and before June 2020 were deferred to the end of June. Our business routine has been impacted by the Coronavirus and we would like to thank our clients for the patience as we navigated the changes. We continue to work diligently on both personal and corporate taxes during this time and are here to help with any questions or concerns you may have.
